Cross Country

 

Who -
 
Any 6th, 7th, or 8th grader who enjoys running or is interested in competing in an individual/team sport for Oak Hill Middle School.

Middle School Cross Country Program
 
When -
 

September and October are the months when the cross country season occurs.  Practices will be Monday-Friday. Meets will be once a week. A course walk will take place a 3:30 with the first race usually starting at 4:00 and the second race starting about 10 minutes after the last runner finishes in the first race. A schedule of practices and games will be provided at the start of the season.

 
Where - 
 

Oak Hill Middle School on the cross country course for home meets and practices.  Away games will be at the course of the hosting schools.

Join to be part of an extracurricular activity which will allow you to compete against yourself, along with other athletes and schools, team building skills, and building good sportsmanship.

 
How - 
 
Go to the following link and fill out the following athletic forms.  https://sites.google.com/a/rsu4.org/ohms/forms.  Bring the completed forms into the office.  You will also need a current physical within the past two years on file with the school nurse which can be faxed to the school.  The fax number is 375-8871. You will only need to fill these out once a year even if they play more than one sport.
